| heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey.... so as of monday i started my new job working for Rock and Republic and designer denim company and i love it ... its been a blast so far, i have gotten to put together goody bags for the peoples choice awards, work with stylist from TV shows, and watch fashion shows all day. Janis Dickenson was in the other day, can i just say uhhh... major diva attitude and she looks plastic, for those of you who dont know she was the first super model... yesterday Tommy Lee was in so i got to hang out with him for awhile, and just as i would have guessed he is nasty in person and a total pervert... I talked to him for a good while and was well grossed out! Today Vicotria Becknam is coming in so the security around the palce is physco... anyways this first week has been extremely tiring.... i get here at like 8:30 after sitting in traffic for a good hour or so then i dont leave till like 6 or 7 sometimes even 8 then me and michelle have been going to the gym every night when i get home so needless to say my days are looooong and tiring! Michelles birthday is this weekend so we are getting a huge group of people together to do something on Saturday night.... however during the day on Saturday me and her are heading up to central cali to wine country and go to a couple tastings.i cannot wait to relax and sleep in ooooooooooooooh what a joy it will be  ...... welp i need to get back to work for a meeting... peace out cub scout.... and i will leave you on this note.... | 16 days till i go home... I AM SO EXCITED i cant even begin to tell you the feeling, its like butterflies, and as a kid not being able to sleep because you know santas gonna be there in the morning... oh i just cant wait to go home! i havent been home since April 2nd and the visit is long over due. it will be so nice to get away from the "I'm so LA" scene and just relax. gosh i havent done that in so long! I cant wait to see my friends, my dogs, feel the cold air and the touch of snow, and more then anything hang out with my best friend in the world my mom! Gosh have i missed her!!!!! i enjoy LA, but its a place that really does just wear and tear on you... some of the people out here just are like no other, they are self absored, cocky, unfriendly, brutal, impatient, materialistic, fake, snobby, and the list goes on... while there are people like that I have been lucky to encounter and make some great friendships in the midst of a city centered around so much sin. the people i have met, have really helped keep me grounded and on track... They are friendships of a level i cant even describe, because deep down we all know that in the times of our homesickness- we keep each other going, when we want to give up- we keep each other going, when we feel like we are all alone- we keep each other going, when we need a shoulder to cry on- we keep each other going, and when we just need a friend- we keep each other going. I am forever thankful that God has brought these people into my life. I am out here in overly populated, insanely crazy, nothing like home Los Angeles... and I have felt like packin up and moving back so many times, but i know this experience has been one thats not even describable in words, God has taught me so much in those times that i have felt and still feel alone, he has brought people into my life that have made imprints on me forever, and he has been there carrying me through every expeirence i have had out here. And because of this it has made Los Angeles a little bit more tolerable. Los Angeles has really allowed me to see how blessed i am. I have a mother that loves me so much, I have the best friends a girl could ask for-each and every one of them has brought joy to my 23 years of living, and more then anything it has allowed me to see that I have a God that loves me so much that he knows when he calls me out of my comfort zone... I will shine for him!
Just know that I love each of you and i appreciate the joy you have brought to my life... and although there are times when I feel like giving up just knowing that you are all there...

| wow o wow... its been awhile! things have just been so busy for me that i have forgotten all about poor lil xanga. im in my final semester at FIDM and boy am i excited about that... i have 4 more weeks of classes and i am DONE yay ! ive kinda taken a break from oh so stressful work, but i will be back in the swing of things once school is finished up... i just couldnt take the stress of my final semester work load on top of dealing with high profile clients...
anyways sooooooo this past weekend my dad had business in san diego so me Michelle and Katlin went down for the weekend to hang out and see him. we went and watched the Seals, went to la jolla, to the gaslamp district, to seaport village, and to balboa park. it was nice to get away from the overpopulated LA scene. we had a very interesting time getting there however... now from LA to san diego it is a 2 hour drive.... well needless to say the least... with traffic that 2 hour drive took us 4.5 to get there... and then we are 2 exits away and we stop to get gas, michelle almost gets hit by a car crossing the street to go to the bathroom and then katlin is getting hit up by some bum to let him use his cell phone... this all happening while im pumping the gas in my car... so i guess maybe i popped the trunk open b.c when we pull out to leave again the trunk of my car is flying up in the air so i pull over we close it and continue on our way (not knowing we have taken the 5 North heading back to LA) we shortly after realize it and get off at the next exit only to find its another highway and the nearest exit is oh i dont know maybe 8 miles down the road.... uhhhhh... so it was the gas stop from HELL, but we eventually made our way back and only lost about 30 min. then on the way home... i get pulled over b.c. i have ohio plates... what the heck are u serious... i think the cop had something against ohio or somethign... but seriously dont waste my time pulling me over for being a cool cat from Ohio...i didnt get a ticket thank goodness. maybe he was from michigan or something thus pulling me over because he knows ohio state is going to cream his team this saturday yea... thats prob it. soooooooo anyways this week my roommate aarons mom and lil brother ryan have been in town for ryans movie permiere and various auditions, so we have been hangin out lots... im the adopted daughter seeing as how she has 2 boys.
im all bummed b.c i dont get to go home for thanksgiving  and i was looking so forward to it. i havent been home since march thats a dang long time to go! im missing my mom and friends like crazy. i was supposed to go home but my dad refused to fly me to see my mom since i will be going there for christmas and so he was going to fly me to see him in Tx to hang out with him and his girlfriend of the week... and well honestly i will just have a big fat PASS on that. christmas cannot come soon enough, thats all i have to say! things are just extremely weird right now my parents divorce is almost final and holidays are a weird time anyways now that they have split... the puzzle just isnt all together, and even if it was it wouldnt be the same.
i got a package from my mom today and inside it was one of those HUGEEEEEEE big stuffed animal dogs... its like enormous... so its hangin out in our living room, aaron and i decided to name it Willis b/c thats the name of our street... sooo i now have a new dog, its not real but its as real as im gonna get in this apt so willis is A O.K for me

| ummm yea so i officially forgot about this, oops!!! until today... im at workerooooo and i thought i would add a lil bit about whats been goin on with me! soooooo im working full time at a place called Butcher Editorial. we film and edit commercials and short films... we are known for our work on all the BMW commercials so if you see those thats us!! so i was just a receptionist until recently i just got hired as..... are you ready for this....... drum roll please...... DIRECTOR OF MARKETING FOR THE ENTIRE EAST COAST!!!! WAHOOOOO... yes i know you are thinking how the crap is she doing that and still in school? well besides the obvious fact that im superwoman i am working all during the week and taking 2 classes on sat. this did set me back graduating till december but hey at least i have somewhat of an idea of what will be going on post grad...once im done with school i will start all my traveling. as for right now im just making my contacts over the phone and having meetings and well pretty much learning the ropes... its fun and i love it so yay!!! other then that working 5 days full time and then school on saturdays from 8-3 ummm there isnt much time for me to go to the beach which makes me bumbed, but i think ill live.... what else what else ummm ok so i have this boyfriend which he is great we get along awesome have a ton in common and always have fun........ until saturday uhhhhh after school me and him went to the park to hang out b.c with my busy schedual theres not much time lets face it... so we are sitting there and talking..... and well this is when i noticed umm we have major difference of opinion.... and its not just on little things its on BIG things, things that clearly i now know he was putting up a front about.... soooooooooo im not so sure what im gonna do about this but i know one thing COURTNEY RAYE DOES NOT SETTLE!!! so lets see.... umm my lease is up soon like the end of August soon and i cant wait!!!!!! stay tuned well thats all for right now i have to get back to work ... gotta make them G's if ya know what i mean ;) | | |
